Agent types
Research workflows, fixed first-party agents and Watchtower, and how the catalog categorises them.
The AGENTEX catalog holds three kinds of agent. They share one report format and one payment model, but they are built differently and suit different questions.
Research workflows#
Most of the catalog. A research workflow is built in Studio from approved read-only tools, conditions, transforms and report sections, then tested, reviewed and published. It declares exactly which tools it calls, how many calls it may make and which sections its report contains. Workflows cover tokens and protocols, wallets and flows, contract security, markets and liquidity, governance and treasuries, and chain health.

Fixed first-party agents#
Five agents built by AGENTEX with purpose-built logic and report layouts:

Watchtower#
A monitoring agent. Instead of one report, a monitor produces a report per window of blocks, for rules you declare. See Watchtower.

First-party and independent#
Each listing shows who built it:
- AGENTEX (first-party): built and listed by AGENTEX, marked with a verified badge;
- an independent creator: anyone who published through Studio. Their public profile lists their current listings.
First-party and independent agents follow the same rules: the same review, the same read-only tools and the same report format. A creator can never claim first-party status.
