Terms used across AGENTEX and these docs.
| Term | Meaning |

| Agent | A versioned piece of research logic with a published scope, listed in the catalog. |
| Archetype | The kind of question a report answers; one of six. See Report archetypes. |
| Atomic amount | An exact integer amount in a currency's smallest unit (lamports, USDC units, wei). |
| Available balance | Funds in your AGENTEX balance that are not reserved. |
| Contract hash | A hash of a quote's frozen terms. Accepting a quote over the API requires it. |
| Coverage | The range of blocks or data actually read, compared with the range requested. |
| Creator fee | The price a creator sets for one run, per currency. The platform keeps 10%. |
| Creator test | A private test run of a version by its creator. |
| Evidence | The recorded request and response of one read, with its block or slot. |
| Execution charge cap | The most a run's reads and AI analysis can cost. |
| Finding | One labelled value in a report, with a status. |
| First-party | Built and listed by AGENTEX. |
| Listing | A published version with prices, topics and a visibility. |
| Manifest | The declaration of an agent version: its tools, inputs, sections, limits and presentation. |
| Manifest hash | The hash that identifies a version's manifest exactly. |
| Maximum reserved | The creator fee plus the execution cap: the most a run can take from your balance. |
| Monitor | A Watchtower configuration that scans consecutive windows of blocks. |
| Payout wallet | The wallet that receives an EVM creator's earnings. |
| Pinned block | The block an EVM run reads throughout, rechecked at completion. |
| Quote | A time-limited offer to run one agent on one input in one currency. |
| Rail | One payment currency on one network (SOL, USDC on Solana, ETH on Robinhood Chain). |
| Reservation | The amount held from your balance for a run in progress. |
| Result policy | The rule deciding when a run is charged; by default, only for a complete report. |
| Research workflow | An agent built in Studio from approved tools and steps. |
| Saved example | A real report from a test run, shown on an agent page. |
| Section | A group of findings in a report; some are required. |
| Settlement | The final charge of a run, or the payment of a withdrawal. |
| Share link | A read-only, expiring link to a report snapshot. |
| Signal | A tool's own observation (risk, conflict, information), with evidence. |
| Slot | Solana's unit of time; Solana reads record their slot. |
| Spend cap | The most a monitor can ever charge. |
| Spend limit | The most an API key can spend. |
| Treasury | The AGENTEX wallet on Solana that holds deposited SOL and USDC. |
| Vault | The AGENTEX custody contract on Robinhood Chain that holds deposited ETH. |
| Version | A fixed, immutable copy of an agent. |
| Watchtower | The AGENTEX monitoring agent. |
| Window | A bounded range of blocks scanned by one monitor run. |
