Pricing and payment rails
The gross creator fee, the platform's 10% share, execution charges, fee ranges per currency, multi-currency listings and price revisions.
You set the price of each listing as a gross creator fee per run, in each currency the listing accepts. This page explains how a buyer's charge is made up, the fee range of each payment rail, which currencies your account can sell in, how to add a currency, and how price revisions work. It is for creators pricing a listing. For the buyer's side of payments, see Payments overview.
How a run is priced#
A buyer's quote for one run has up to three parts:
| Part | Who sets it | Who receives it |
|---|---|---|
| Gross creator fee | You, per listing and currency | You, minus the platform's share |
| Execution charge | The platform, per read the run makes, up to a cap | The platform |
| AI analysis (only if the version has it) | Your per-run cost cap bounds it | The platform |
- The platform keeps 10% of the gross creator fee, rounded down to the currency's smallest unit. You receive the rest as creator credit.
- The quote reserves the most the run can cost ("Maximum reserved") from the buyer's AGENTEX balance. After the run, the buyer is charged only what was used, and only if the report is complete; a partial or failed run returns the whole reservation.
- A quote freezes the price revision, the exact version and the fee split. It is valid for four minutes.
Example: a gross creator fee of 0.25 USDC gives the platform 0.025 USDC and you 0.225 USDC per completed run.
Payment rails#
| Currency | Network | Who can list in it | Default fee | Maximum fee | Execution charge per read |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SOL | Solana mainnet-beta | Solana accounts | 0.0022 SOL | 0.0435 SOL | 0.000087 SOL |
| USDC | Solana mainnet-beta | Solana accounts | 0.25 USDC | 5 USDC | 0.01 USDC |
| ETH | Robinhood Chain | EVM accounts | 0.0001 ETH | 0.002 ETH | 0.000004 ETH |
The values are the current production policy; Publish always shows the range that applies ("Fee range … per accepted run"). Fees are entered in whole-currency units (for example 0.005) and converted exactly to the smallest unit: 9 decimals for SOL, 6 for USDC and 18 for ETH. A fee of 0 is allowed.
- A Solana account (Phantom or another Solana wallet) lists in SOL and USDC. With an EVM account, Publish explains: "SOL and USDC rails need a Solana account: sign in with a Solana wallet to list in SOL or USDC."
- An EVM account lists in ETH on Robinhood Chain.
- Buyers pay with the currencies their own account supports, so a SOL and USDC listing is bought by Solana accounts, and an ETH listing by EVM accounts.
Execution charges#
The execution charge pays for the reads a run makes. It is charged per read at the rate above, up to a cap in the quote: the rate times the lower of 16 and your workflow's worst-case reads (from Permissions & cost), plus the AI analysis maximum when the version has one. The buyer sees the cap as "Execution charge cap".
Execution charges and AI analysis costs are platform amounts. They appear in your earnings for transparency but are never part of your creator credit.
Set the first price#
The first price is set when you publish (see Publish a listing): enter the Gross creator fee on the version's card. With a Solana account, choose Prices in SOL or USDC first: "New listings and price changes use (currency). A listing can accept SOL and USDC: each listing below can add the other currency."
Accept another currency#
One listing can accept both SOL and USDC; it is never duplicated per currency. Buyers choose the currency at checkout, and amounts in different currencies are never combined.
- In Your listings, find the listing. Under the currency it does not accept yet, enter Gross creator fee in USDC (or SOL), or leave it empty to use the default.
- Choose Accept USDC too (or Accept SOL too).
The confirmation reads "(Name) now accepts USDC at a gross creator fee of (fee) USDC. Buyers choose the currency at checkout." The listing's other prices stay as they are, and the card shows "Accepts SOL · USDC".
Studio has no control to stop accepting one currency on a listing. To stop sales, pause or delist the listing (see Manage a listing).
Change a price#
- In Your listings, the card shows the current price, for example "Price revision 2 · 0.01 SOL gross · you receive 0.009 SOL".
- With a Solana account, choose the currency to change under Prices in. The other currency's price is shown with "Choose (currency) under Prices in to change it."
- Enter the New gross creator fee and choose Review price change.
- Check "Change the gross creator fee from (old) to (new)?" and choose Confirm new price.
"This affects only new quotes. Quotes already issued keep their frozen price revision, and accepted runs settle at the price the buyer accepted." The confirmation reads "New quotes now use a gross creator fee of (new). Existing quotes and accepted runs keep their price."
Each change is a new numbered price revision in the listing's history. A listing can take at most 50 price revisions in 24 hours. If the price changed elsewhere since you loaded the page, the change is refused and the current price is shown: "The listing price changed to revision N. Review the current price before revising."
How buyers see your price#
On the purchase form, a buyer chooses a currency under the rails your listing accepts, requests a quote and sees:
- Gross creator fee;
- Execution charge cap;
- AI-assisted summary maximum (included above), when the version has AI analysis;
- Creator receives from fee and Platform share of fee;
- Maximum reserved: the most the run can take from their balance.
After the run, the settlement receipt shows what was charged: "Buyer charged", "Gross creator fee" and "Execution charged".
