Wallet signatures
Every signature AGENTEX asks your wallet for, what each one allows, and what it never allows.
Your wallet is your AGENTEX identity. AGENTEX asks it to sign in a small number of well-defined situations. Knowing them lets you recognise a legitimate request and refuse anything else.
What signing means#
There are two kinds of wallet request:
- Signing a message proves you control the wallet. It moves no funds and costs nothing.
- Approving a transaction changes state on a blockchain, for example sending funds. It costs a network fee and can move assets.
AGENTEX only asks for a transaction when you start a deposit.
Every request AGENTEX makes#

| Changing the payout wallet (EVM) | Re-authentication message, then a message from the new wallet | Links a new wallet for creator earnings. Both wallets must sign. |
| Closing your account (EVM) | Re-authentication message | Confirms an irreversible closure you have typed out. |
Re-authentications are short-lived: they allow one kind of change for a few minutes, then expire.
What AGENTEX never asks for#
- your seed phrase or private key;
- a token approval or allowance for your wallet's assets;
- a transaction you did not start;
- a signature to "verify" or "unlock" your account outside the flows above.
Signing on a phone#
Open agentex.sh inside your wallet's built-in browser, or connect Robinhood Wallet with WalletConnect. The request details are shown by your wallet, not by AGENTEX: check them there.
Rejected signatures#
If you reject a request, nothing changes: no session, no withdrawal, no link. You can try again at any time.
