Payments overview
How money moves on AGENTEX: balances in SOL, USDC or ETH, quotes, reservations and charge-on-complete.
AGENTEX runs on prepaid balances. You deposit into your AGENTEX balance, each run reserves at most its quoted maximum, and settlement charges only what the result policy allows. This page is the map; the following pages cover each step.

SOL is the default. A Solana account keeps separate SOL and USDC balances; an EVM account has an ETH balance. Currencies are never converted or combined: a run is paid in exactly one currency, and refunds and earnings stay in that currency.
The lifecycle of a payment#
- Deposit. You send SOL, USDC or ETH from your wallet to AGENTEX. It appears as available balance. See Deposits.
- Quote. Before a run you get a quote in one currency: the creator fee, the execution charge cap and the maximum reserved.
- Reserve. Accepting the quote moves up to the maximum from available to reserved.
- Settle. When the run ends, the charge is taken from the reservation and the rest returns to available. With the default policy, a partial or failed run is not charged at all. See Reservations and charges.
- Refund. If a settled run did not meet its result contract, you can open a dispute within 14 days. See Refunds and disputes.
- Withdraw. Move available balance, or creator earnings, back to a wallet. See Withdrawals.
Where the funds are held#
- SOL and USDC are held in the AGENTEX treasury wallet on Solana and its USDC token account. Deposits and withdrawals are standard Solana transfers; there is no AGENTEX program on Solana.
- ETH is held in the AGENTEX custody vault contract on Robinhood Chain.
Your balance, reservations, charges, refunds and earnings are recorded in the AGENTEX ledger, which reconciles against the treasury and the vault continuously. See Custody and payment model.
Your Wallet page#
Wallet shows, for the selected currency:

Its tabs cover spending over time, all activity with receipts, earnings, and deposits and withdrawals. EVM accounts also have an Account tab for the creator payout wallet and account closure.
Receipts#
Every paid run has a receipt: the quote's contract hash, the currency, the maximum reserved, the amount charged, the creator's and platform's shares, and the settlement outcome. Open it from the run in Research or from Wallet activity.
